We understand rationally that failure is a reality of life, and at some level, we realize that it can actually help us grow. 

Intellectually, we even recognize that the greatest achievers routinely experienced colossal blunders. 

Let’s face it though, we hate to fail. We dread it, we fear it, and when it happens, we make our failure mean something that hurts instead of help us. We give this story power over our emotions, and sometimes we allow it to dictate our choices or decisions. At times we go to great lengths to avoid failure because of all the pain and shame associated with it. 

Why is it so hard to accept our failure, to use our failures and to move on? And how can we keep failure – or the fear of it -- from derailing us? 

To do this this, we must master the ART of Failure.
